I created a hypothetical brand crossover between Daft Punk and FunkoPops, focusing on product design, key marketing points, and social media rollout strategies.
This project was an experimental exploration of what a brand crossover between Daft Punk and FunkoPops could look like. My work involved conceptualizing and marking up potential product designs that would resonate with fans of both brands. I brainstormed ideas for FunkoPop figures inspired by Daft Punk's iconic imagery and music, ensuring that the crossover maintained the artistic integrity of both brands while creating a product line that would excite collectors and music fans alike. This included detailed mockups of the figures and packaging to visually represent how the collaboration could take shape.
Beyond product design, I also developed a comprehensive social media marketing rollout strategy to bring the hypothetical crossover to life. This strategy included key points for generating anticipation and engagement on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. By leveraging the unique fan bases of Daft Punk and FunkoPop, the campaign focused on building excitement through teasers, behind-the-scenes content, and influencer partnerships to create viral moments. The rollout was designed to highlight the artistic innovation behind the products while driving fan interaction and pre-orders.
Although the project was experimental, it allowed me to hone my skills in cross-brand marketing and digital strategy. I learned how to effectively communicate the value of a brand collaboration while catering to the tastes and expectations of diverse fan communities. The project reinforced my ability to think creatively about product design and marketing execution, while keeping both consumer engagement and brand identity in mind.
